CABs advise the Washoe County Commissioners on neighborhood issues such as land use planning, water and sewer service, and recreation needs.

Membership

Members are appointed by the County Commission for staggered two-year terms and may serve consecutive terms. Applicants must reside within the area represented by the CAB to be eligible for membership.

Time Commitment

The volunteer board meets on the second Monday bimonthly at 6:30 p.m. at Roy Gomm Elementary School, 4000 Mayberry Drive in Reno (January, March, May, September and November) and at the Reno High School Alumni Association Center, on the Reno High School Campus, 395A Booth Street in Reno in July.
