Planning Commission Information
| The Washoe County Planning Commission was created pursuant to NRS 278.030 and Washoe County Code Section 110.912.05. The Planning Commission consists of seven members appointed to four-year terms by the County Commission. The primary purpose of the Planning Commission is to review and provide recommendations to the County Commission on long-range plans and code amendments (Chapter 110). The Commission also reviews and approves tentative subdivision maps, certain types of special use permits, variance requests, and other similar development applications. |
