A workshop to discuss update of the Conservation Element of the Washoe County Comprehensive Plan was held at the Planning Commission caucus at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 18, 2004 . Chad Giesinger gave a brief PowerPoint presentation. He reported that he had sent out the proposed schedule (see page 1 of presentation) along with an agency comment memo and a copy of the existing Conservation Element to numerous reviewing agencies and departments.

Reviewing agency comments were provided for the Washoe County District Health Department (WCDHD), Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (NDCNR), Nevada Division of Water Resources (NDWR) and United States Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS).
