The Nevada State Demographer's Office has released the 2008 population estimates as certified by the Governor. The population of Washoe County is estimated at 423,833. Of this total, Reno represents a population estimated to be 223,012 with Sparks at 91,684, leaving a remainder in the unincorporated county of 109,137.
