National Award Winning!
The Trust for Public Land (TPL) and National Association of Counties (NACo) recently awarded their Medium County Leadership Conservation Award to the Washoe County Regional Open Space and Natural Resource Management Plan. Washoe County recently completed an approximately 18-month planning process that resulted in an update to the Regional Open Space Plan and added a Natural Resource Management component to the plan. Staff from Washoe County Department of Community Development and the Regional Parks and Open Space Department led the process. |
