What is OpenOffice? It is a FREE a text, computational, and presentation software package. The OpenOffice software includes comparable Microsoft Office software (except Publisher) in addition to several more products. It is developed with the international open document format extension standards which allow you to save a document in many formats including the Microsoft extension standards (.doc, .xls, .pps).
Have fun with OpenOffice and we bet after spending some time playing with it, you'll never want to pay for another Office product again!
