Sparks Library is a large full-service library located in the heart of Sparks, and is the busiest circulating branch in the Washoe County Library System.

Sparks Library is home to the Community Resource Center. Services include access to computers for education and training; help with GED exam preparation and college applications; help with unemployment claims; and assistance with creating or updating resumes. Staff can also provide a wide variety of informational and service referrals.

Located at 1125 12th St., the library is 23,000 square feet with approximately 145,000 items. It provides wireless computer access, 20 public Internet stations and word processors, one Express Internet Station, test proctoring, a large DVD and audio-book collection, 24-hour book return, and specialized collections of auto repair and Rail City books. We have staff that speaks many languages including Spanish, Chinese, Dutch, French, and more.

Adult services continue to provide reference help, non-fiction and fiction items, and a very popular paperback and graphic novel section. The youth services provide reference help, and materials for all ages of youth, programming including bi-lingual programming and video gaming, outreach and library tours. There is also a delightful garden courtyard in the children's room that can be visited. Come by and visit!
