Amazon wish list

Due to the ongoing budget cuts affecting Washoe County Library System, the number of books ordered from operating funds next year will again be lower than in previous years. But you can help by purchasing a book through Amazon Wish List. The donations will help the library build its collection and make more copies available to check out.

Here’s how the process works. Click on the link to Amazon Wish List above. You'll see a list of titles that the library needs. Make your selection, purchase the book through Amazon, and your book will be sent directly to the library. Of course, you may purchase as many books as you like.

Alternatively, you can go to Amazon.com, click on Gifts and Wish Lists and search for Washoe County Library. From there, the process is the same as above.

A personalized bookplate will be placed in the book acknowledging your donation. It can also indicate a donation in honor or in memory of someone. All donations are tax-deductible.

Monetary donations to the library are always appreciated and go toward the purchase of new, relevant library materials for the collection.  Upon request, any donation of $100 or more may be designated for a specific purpose.

Washoe County Library System is in the process of adopting technology to accept credit cards, so please stay tuned.  At this time, we will accept checks made out to Washoe County Library System.  All donations can be sent to the following address:

Washoe County Library System
Attn:  Development
PO Box 2151
Reno, NV  89505

If you have questions, please feel free to contact the Development Officer, Jennifer Oliver, at 775.327.8360 or email.

Thank you for your support of the Washoe County Library System.

The Friends of the Washoe County Library group also welcomes volunteer and financial support.
