This site is intended as a resource for the media. Our mission is to keep the community informed and to make information available from Washoe County in a timely, accurate manner through the news media, newsletters, presentations at community events, and Washoe County TV17.
The Public Information Office is a liaison between the County and the media, providing press releases, fact sheets, assistance to reporters on assignment and other information and resources as necessary.
