At their March 25 Board meeting, Washoe County Commissioners took the first step in improving the environment and quality of life for the Crystal Bay community by authorizing the bidding of the Crystal Bay Utilities Undergrounding Project.
At their March 25 Board meeting, Washoe County Commissioners approved the second reading and adoption of an ordinance that amends Chapter 100 of the Washoe County Code. This ordinance will increase fees for building, grading, solar and pool permits, and it will increase fees for related inspections and licenses, adding plan review fees, and modifying building valuation data.

At their March 25 Board meeting, Washoe County Commissioners adopted and executed a resolution for the County’s all-hazards evacuation plan. This plan addresses the provision of mass care, to include shelter, feeding and distribution of supplies and services to affected citizens, including special needs populations.
