November 20, 2009. Reno, Nevada. Extreme winds in the Truckee Meadows today are causing an extraordinary increase in calls to the Washoe County Regional Animal Services Facility reporting dogs running loose in the community.

In celebration of Greek Week, fraternity and sorority members from University of Nevada, Reno have volunteered to clean up five parks within the City of Reno and Washoe County.

Reno, NV, November 12, 2009. The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey Relay Run Adventure is spearheading a Running Shoe and Race Shirt Drive to benefit local kids being served through the Kids Kottage. The Running Shoe and Race Shirt Drive will be on November 21, 2009 at Eclipse Running at 6990 S. McCarran Blvd. in Reno from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
