Washoe County Organizational Effectiveness Committee

 

   The OEC recognizes that the world has changed and that the government needs to change also. The OEC encourages constructive discussion on the role and responsibilities of local government in our changing world, and advises the County on implementing needed strategic changes. 

The mission of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee, adopted 9/10/08, is to share knowledge and best practices to build a better Washoe County organization. 

 "The mission of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee The existing membership of the Organizational Effectiveness Committee includes one representative from the County Commission (John Breternitz); the County Manager (Katy Simon); and seven "at-large" members from the private or not-for-profit sector; five Commissioner appointees and one representative of the Washoe County employee bargaining units.
