COPIES OF MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES

For proof of marriage, you may obtain a certified copy of your Marriage Certificate from the Washoe County Recorder's Office. It is important to note that marriage certificate copies are available for licenses that are issued in Washoe County. Only if you went to the Washoe County Clerk's Office to fill out an application to be married will your marriage certificate be located in the Washoe County Recorder's Office.
