ST. JAMES FIRE EVACUATION DRILL 2011 - Saturday, April 30th at 9:30 a.m.
This year's evacuation drill involves a simulated wildfire in the Joy Lake Road area. All residents received a notice and are invited to attend the residential P.R.I.D.E. classes and participate in this drill. This year's evacuation drill will be held in conjunction with the Wildfire Awareness Week (WAW) kickoff event at Galena High School. At the evacuation center and WAW event you will find free fuels chipping, vendors and other fire preparedness information.

View the evacuation checklist for things to do and items to put in your "to-go"bag and be prepared for any disaster.
Register for Reverse telephone notification, called City Watch.
View the Phone tree to enroll with your captain.
Go to the Fire Evacuation Map to see gate locations.
Put this "Evacuated" placard in your window so emergency agencies know at a glance that you have safely evacuated your home.
The "Water Source" placard will advise firefighters that your water can be used in the event of a fire.
