Citation court is held every Wednesday at 8:45 A.M. Check in is required before hand.  If the court session is missed you will be given one continuance for the following Wednesday date.  A second missed arraignment date will require you to post the full bail amount on the citation with a new arraignment date given.

Request for continuance will not be given over the phone, you must appear in person, or submit a request in writing via e-mail to the address above or by fax (775) 352-3004.  It is your responsibility to follow up with the court with your request to ensure the continuance has been granted.

Attire Requirements:  No shorts, tank tops, or halter tops are allowed in Court.  Shoes are required.  T-shirts which show offensive slogans or pictures are not allowed.  Hats should be removed before entering courtroom.

The Sparks Justice Court accepts the following forms of payments:

•         CASH
•         WESTERN UNION
•         MONEY ORDERS
•         CASHIERS CHECK
•         PERSONAL CHECKS (With Photo Identification)
•         Checks & Money Orders should be made out (payable) to:

If you must pay on a traffic ticket or other fine and are unable to do so during the courts regular business hours (Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM for payments), a drop-box is available for your convenience. Include the following items on your money orders:

The Name of the defendant issued the citation.

The Citation / Case number being paid.
